Unlike other short-run book printers, Bookmobile can produce nonstandard trim sizes, including a square or landscape photo book. We won’t squeeze your photography into a standard trim size like 11″ x 8-1/2″. We can do any trim size from 3″ x 4″ all the way up to 12″ x 12″—and yes, that’s portrait or landscape.

Square Photo Books

Featured above is Connected, by the photographer Amy Lombard.  It’s a 6″ x 6″ hardcover with a printed case and printed end sheets. The small square trim size is perfectly suited to feature her Instagram and VSCO images.

HOME LESSby the photographer Alfred Brown IV, is a 9″ x 9″ hardcover with a linen case, black foil stamps, and an inset cover image. Alfred’s medium format film photography also befits a square format.

Landscape Photo Books

Dismantling Stereotypes, by Karima White, is a paperback at 10″ x 8″. Karima made terrific use of the size in her cover design! She also chose our 4-color print process to reproduce her black-and-white photography. You can read more about printing black-and-white photography at Bookmobile here.
