Paperback and Hardcover Schedules

I am so relieved to let you know that our paperback and hardcover schedules have improved dramatically! We’ve been able to shorten our turnaround times for the most part by two weeks, depending on the specs.

Why? We’ve worked through the backlog that had built up over the last year and our bindery is finally back to being fully staffed and trained in.

For jobs currently in production, we haven’t been able to promise earlier dates–but most print runs are shipping earlier than promised.

Once you Get a Quote, we can send you a cover template, order form, and upload link for files. Within a business day, we’ll let you know your schedule. You’ll be assigned a Rep who will manage your job throughout production.

Paper Update

Paper supply remains an issue, but it has been manageable–we haven’t had to push back any ship dates this past month due to paper supply issues. Of course, we can’t promise that will remain the case. But we can promise that if we foresee material issues with your print run, we will work with you and clearly communicate what we can do. It’s usually a choice between finding an economical and suitable paper substitute, or pushing out your ship date.

Shipping

There is some bad news, we are already seeing an increase in late deliveries (even with expedited/air methods), plus lost packages, and damages.

So of course, please build in time with your schedules, and be especially cautious with timing for events and deadlines.

Keep in mind that shipments don’t move on major holidays–so November 24, December 26, and January 2 will not have pick up, movement, or delivery service.

Receive a damaged box? Please hold on to the box and the books. Email your print rep photos of the damaged books and box, and a count of the damaged books. We’ll work with you for a refund or make good, and file a claim with the carrier.
