At Bookmobile, we offer short run hardcover book printing with options. Unlike other short run printers, we offer choices like odd trim sizes, printed end sheets, large-area foil stamps, and more. And unlike offset printers, we can offer many of these options on a run of just 100 copies.

About Our Short Run Hardcover Book Printing

Bookmobile’s hardcovers are perfect bound and cased in, with a square spine (versus a rounded spine). Unfamiliar with hardcovers? Read our post, The Parts of a Hardcover Book. For books with coated interior paper stocks, we PUR bind the books and case them in—the cold glue of a PUR bind is more durable and flexible for coated stocks.

We produce anywhere from 25 to 3,000 copies of a hardcover. For runs of 500 or more, we often outsource to a local bindery for a quicker turn (and we only outsource locally so we can keep a close eye on quality).

The Options

Blind deboss on a linen case: Pictured above, The Pass Down Journal from Cleverevolution has a blind deboss on a Pearl Linen Khaki Beige case.

Printed end sheets: The Right Coast by the fine art photographer Susannah Ray is about surfers on the East Coast, and the wave pattern made the perfect printed end sheet.
