When the US office of Polity Press needed quality bound galleys turned quickly and mailed out reliably and economically, Bookmobile was recommended. Based in the UK, Polity’s US arm works with Bookmobile for advanced reading copies in the US.
For printing, Polity emails PDFs for the cover and interior. Bookmobile adds an Uncorrected Proof tag to the cover, emails proofs for an OK to Print, and then we print and bind books in just a few business days.
Using our eFirst tool, Polity uploads an Excel list of the drop ship addresses, along with a PDF of the press release to insert, selects the ship method, and we take care of the rest. Polity can check eFirst to see the status of each shipment and its tracking number as well.
For galley mailings, publishers can do a black-and-white or color insert for a letter or press release, and multiple pages are fine. Our rates are competitive, and we can drop ship a bulk quantity to an office or distributor and mail the remainder per the Excel list.
