Bookmobile is open and producing books without delay!
While a two week stay-at-home order has been issued for Minnesota, Bookmobile is a key supplier to book publishers, which are listed as essential by the state, and we also operate and provide warehousing and storage services, also listed as essential. In addition, our suppliers have indicated that they are open and able to provide us with materials.
But the more important issue, of course, is keeping everybody healthy! We have taken the following actions:
- Halted all face-to-face meetings.
- Cancelled all business travel.
- Instituted twice-daily disinfecting routines in our facility.
- Instituted a policy of sending home anyone showing symptoms.
- Set up all sales, customer service, design, eBook, and accounting staff to work remotely and sent them home.
Bookmobile will keep you updated moving forward. We thank you for your support and patience, and we look forward to working with you!
