What’s a Book Distributor?
A book distributor allows both online and bricks-and-mortar stores to get your book. Book distributors warehouse your book, upload your title’s information to the retailers, fulfill orders, and process returns. Itasca’s Distribution Services
Itasca Books will make your book available to hundreds of retailers and wholesalers. We distribute your title’s information to Bowker, Ingram, Baker & Taylor, Barnes & Noble, and Amazon, among others, including independent bookstores. We process orders, payments, and returns, and provide you with a monthly report detailing the sales, returns, freight costs, payments, and credits. We can also drop-ship your office or website orders, as well as review or event copies. Books are stored in a climate-controlled and insured warehouse, and we pack bulk orders in double-walled cartons to minimize any damage. When returns come in, we inspect for damage. Itasca Books has two websites: www.ItascaBooks.com is the retail face, where readers can order books online; and publishers can find details about distribution services at www.Publisher.ItascaBooks.com.
